TLSC Tumbi Umbi Campus has established a partnership with WIEL (Women in Educational Leadership) to deliver presentations and workshops to our girls so they can better understand the changes they are going through and healthy ways to deal with change. Our first session was an outstanding success. Females students from all partner schools joined us on campus to meet
- Lisa Cox, an inspiring young woman who discussed the effects of media on body image and self esteem
- Butterfly Foundation, an organisation dedicated to building a healthy body image in young women
- Workshop presenters who focused on strategies we can all use to quiet our minds in this world where everything is 24/7
We look forward to following these workshops up over this year and the next.
Congratulations to the team, under the leadership of our Head Teacher Wellbeing Mrs McInnes, for an outstanding day where the warmth of the campus, our professionalism and the dedication to students shone through.
