Whilst TLSC Tumbi Umbi Campus will be open on Thursday 23 April there will be minimal supervision for those students on site since some staff are having difficulty getting to work due to the storm damage effecting the whole community.
The Red Bus Company advise that they will be providing transport where possible and safe, however, there are many areas within our campus area they still cannot access due to fallen trees, fallen powerlines and flooding.
Please be aware that the program offered to students will not be their usual timetable and will not include sport. All preparations for our ANZAC Day Assembly have been postponed with the actual assemblies now scheduled for Monday 27 April.
The campus does not have an operational phone system and are relying on mobile phones and emails.
Parents and carers are asked to make a decision based the facts in this letter, their child's needs and the availability of safe transport as to whether or not their child attends the campus on Thursday 23 April.
Please check our website or our twitter account @TLSC_TumbiUmbi again tomorrow morning before 7.00am to see if there has been any change to these arrangements.
