TLSC Tumbi Umbi Campus is committed to ensuring that every student achieves personal best.
We are all aware that every student is an individual, and as such, no two students will learn in the same way or at the same rate. To that end and with the following question in mind – how is this child smart? We provide many different, individualised opportunities and supports for students to achieve personal best.
The learning support faculty is pivotal to the campus's focus on supporting students, staff and parents/carers to understand and respond to the unique learning needs students can have especially when they require additional time to become more independent in their learning.
The faculty is involved in the learning support team and oversees the:
- Adjusted Curriculum Education (ACE) Program – Years 7 to 10
- Learning Support Program – Years 7 to 10
- Integration Support Program – Years 7 to 10
- special provisions – Years 7 to 10
- Literacy support
- Good Start Program
- 6-to-7 Transition Program with our Partner Primary Schools
