Absence SMS

TLSC Tumbi Umbi Campus uses SMS to alert parents and carers to their child's absence. This works really well in ensuring that we all know where our students are and they are safe. Thanks for making sure your contact details are kept current so that contact can be quickly made.

Parent/teacher nights

Parent/teacher nights occur throughout the year for a range of different reasons. Those reasons include:

  • Discussion with parents of their child's progress with his/her teachers. Such nights are usually held in Term 2 and the dates advised through the campus calendar and campus newsletter.
  • Curriculum nights where parents are invited to find out about subject choices before their child hands in their choices. These nights are held for each year group as appropriate. An invitation is sent to each family when those evenings are planned.
  • Information evenings for excursions where guidelines and recommendations for large events are work through with and for parents and carers.

For more information or tips to get the most out of parent/teacher nights, see parent-teacher interviews.
