What is it?
Our Community Referral Program is an easy way to help raise money for your club or community group. Whether you need new facilities, equipment, funding for events or educational needs, our Community Referral Program helps you get there by rewarding you for your support of Newcastle Permanent.
How does it work?
Once your club or community group has joined the Community Referral Program, we will give them a $500 ‘referral payment’ for every eligible new home loan referred to us through the club or community group. The borrower just needs to mention the club or community group that referred them when they apply for the loan with us.
It’s that simple.
So instead of organising raffles and fetes for thousands,
you only need 10 people to take out a new loan with us and your organisation will receive $5000! How easy is that?
What’s in it for the borrower?

Who is eligible?
Clubs, community groups, not-for-profit organisations and schools are eligible to apply.
How do I start raising money with the Program?

2. Sign the Community Referral Program agreement provided.
3. Once signed up, tell as many people as you can about the program. Don’t forget to tell them to mention your club or community group’s name when applying for a home loan with us. We will help you with this bit by supplying words for your website, ads for your newsletter and even a poster if you would like one. We can also come to your committee meetings to provide a presentation, explaining the Community Referral Program to more people if you would like us to.
4. Once the eligible loan has been processed at our end, we will donate $500 to your club or community group as a direct credit into your club or community group’s account.
5. Watch your fundraising balance increase every month.
6. Start spending the extra funds on the things your club or community group needs the most.
7. Tell more people about this great program to continue to raise more funds!
