One important life skill for all people is assertive communication. In no way does this mean aggression and violence. Assertive communication simply means being about to communicate your opinion and/or needs clearly to those around you in words and body language. it allows you to outsmart bullies!
Children who have good assertive communication skills rarely report being harassed by others. These children give off an aura of confidence.
A local group are looking at developing assertive communication skills with young people. Take a look at the flyer - it may be of interest to you or someone you know.
